ACP Vijay Pal Singh Tomar is a legendary Indian pole vaulter and athlete with an extraordinary legacy in Indian athletics. He represented India at the 1986 Asian Games and later became a Masters Asian Games Gold Medalist, showcasing his excellence across different stages of his career. A history-maker in pole vault, he held the National Record for an incredible 29 years, earning recognition in the Limca Book of Records. He is the only Indian athlete to break the national record six times and the only one in history to hold the Junior, Senior, and Masters records simultaneously.
