P. G. Jayakrishnan is an athletic coach with the Department of TWDCG, Government sector, holding an NIS Diploma in Sports Coaching (Athletics) and serving as a Federation Technical Official. He has participated in major events, including the All India Inter University Athletics meets at Hisar in 1993 and Jaipur in 1995, and six Madhya Pradesh State athletics meets. He has been part of the Master Athletics Championship in Pune at the international level. Jayakrishnan has coached the Chhattisgarh team in SFGI national meets 20 times and served as coach at Guru Ghasidas University athletics five times. He was also an Assistant Technical Official at the 2020 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.
