Bijender Singh Hooda is an experienced basketball coach with a strong national and international background, currently serving at Chhattarsal Stadium, Model Town, Delhi, former Head Coach of the Indian Junior Men’s Basketball Team with extensive participation in major events such as the Asian School Games, FIBA Asia Championships, and multiple international tournaments in China, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, and Korea, accomplished former player in Senior, Junior, Sub-Junior, and Youth National Championships and selected for the Junior India Camp in 1987, mentor of 32 international-level players, holder of international training credentials from George Mason University and NBA legend Robert Keith Reid’s clinic, national referee, and recipient of the Indo-Russian Friendship Award and All India Civil Services Championship Gold Medal in 2023.
