Yogesh Prasad Yadav is a highly experienced Athletics Coach with the Sports Department, currently posted at Sidu Khanhu Stadium in Sahibganj, Jharkhand, where he has played a significant role in nurturing and developing athletic talent. He holds a strong educational and professional foundation in sports, having completed a Diploma in Physical Education (2002), an NIS Diploma in Athletics (2003), and earning World Athletics Level I & II Coaching Certificates, which reflect his commitment to continuous learning and coaching excellence. In addition to coaching, he has also contributed to major sporting events, serving as a Technical Official at the 33rd National Games in 2007 and working as Coordinator of the PYKKA Cell in Jharkhand from 2010 to 2012, promoting grassroots sports development. Yogesh has coached the Jharkhand state athletics team at multiple prestigious events, including the National Games in 2011, 2015, 2023, 2024, and 2025, as well as the Khelo India Games in 2018, 2022, and 2025, consistently leading athletes to strong performances. Over the years, he has trained and mentored several national-level athletes, such as Manoj Hembrom, Prem Hansda, and Amanuel Kisku, helping them excel on the national stage. Through his expertise, dedication, and long-term service to athletics, Yogesh Prasad Yadav continues to be a driving force in shaping the future of track and field in Jharkhand and India.
