Dr. Mrs. Naresh Mudgal is a distinguished former National Basketball Coach and a dedicated sports administrator, educator, and social worker who has made exceptional contributions to women’s empowerment and Indian sports. She holds a Doctorate in Physical Education from South Western American University, a Bachelor of Sports & Humanities (BSH) from Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, and has completed multiple prestigious international coaching certifications, including Basketball Coaching from NIS Patiala, Level 2 Netball Coaching from Singapore, and a General Conditioning Coaching Course from Budapest, Hungary (Europe). Professionally, she has served in an administrative role as Project Officer with the Sports Authority of India (Sports Ministry) and formerly worked as a National Basketball Coach with SAI, where she coached Indian teams at major international events such as the Asian Championship (Netball) in Malaysia and the World School Basketball Championship in Cyprus, Europe. Beyond sports, Dr. Mudgal is passionately involved in social work, currently serving as the National Secretary General for NariSena and the Women Empowerment Wing (Veterans India), leading initiatives to uplift women across the nation. Her outstanding work has earned her prestigious recognitions, including the Sarojini Naidu Award and the WHRO National Integrity Award by the World Human Rights Organization on the occasion of Human Rights Day in India.
