Sarajit Sarkar is a distinguished football player and coach with a rich career spanning both national and institutional levels. He represented the Indian National Team in the Rajiv Gandhi International Gold Cup and began his playing career with prominent clubs such as Mohun Bagan Athletic Club, Aryan Club, and the SAIL team, captaining the U-21 Bengal Team, SAIL Team, and Calcutta University team in various inter-university tournaments. As a coach, he has contributed to SAIL, the Junior Jharkhand Team, the Calcutta University Team, and the Junior Bengal Football Team. A certified coach from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) through S.A.J Trivandrum, Sarajit brings deep tactical knowledge and leadership to his roles. Currently, he serves as a selector for SAIL, continuing to influence football development and nurture emerging talent.
