Anusri Ghosh is a distinguished Indian volleyball player with over a decade of experience representing the country at national and international levels. She has been associated with Eastern Railway since 2012, contributing both as a player and a role model. Anusri has earned numerous awards, including the Calcutta Sports Journalists’ Club Best Volleyball Player (2011, 2013–14), Khel Samman Award (2013), Khelashree Award, Government of West Bengal (2024), Rotary Club Vocational Excellence Award (2019), and Eastern Railway GM Award (2019–20), among others. On the international stage, she has secured Gold Medals at the Lusofonia Games (2014) and South Asian Games (2016, 2019), and a Silver Medal at the AVC Women’s Challenge Cup (2022). She has represented India in multiple Asian Senior Championships (2013, 2015, 2019, 2023), Asian Games (2014, 2018), the World Championship (2013), and the Asian U23 Championship (2015). At the national and state levels, Anusri has contributed to multiple Senior National and Federation Cup titles with Indian Railways, including first-place finishes in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2022, along with several Silver Medals from 2015 to 2022, and also achieved success at the junior and youth levels representing West Bengal.
