Debanjan Majumder is the Hon. Chief Coach at Prime Badminton Academy, Kolkata, and a certified advanced coach under the Badminton Association of India. With extensive experience both as a player and a coach, he has significantly contributed to badminton at the state and institutional levels. Debanjan has coached West Bengal teams in the East Zone Inter-State Championship 2023 and the Sub-Junior Nationals 2022, and has led the Jadavpur University badminton team in 2021. He also serves as the Chief Coach of the South Eastern Railway Badminton Team, mentoring athletes across age groups. As a player, Debanjan represented West Bengal in 15 National Championships, gaining invaluable competitive experience that informs his coaching philosophy. Known for his strategic approach, technical expertise, and commitment to nurturing talent, he continues to shape the next generation of badminton players in India.
