Wasim Ahmed Khan is a former basketball player and an accomplished coach with extensive experience at both international and national levels. He represented India at the Asian Youth Men’s Championships in Doha in 2000 and the Jr. Asian Basketball Championship in Kolkata in 1998, and also played professional basketball in Dhaka, Bangladesh for two years. Nationally, he earned notable achievements, including gold medals at the Sr. National Championship in 1997 and the National Games in Manipur in 1999, along with several silver and bronze medals. As a coach, he leads the Eastern Railway Men’s Team and the West Bengal team.
