Shweta Brahmachari is an accomplished international rower with an outstanding record of achievements at both Asian and national levels. She won a bronze medal at the Asian Indoor Rowing Championship in 2025 and secured two bronze medals in the 1000m and 500m women’s single scull events at the 2022 Asia Cup. Representing India with distinction, she has competed at the World University Championship (2018) and the Asian Junior Rowing Championship (2016). At the 2023 National Games held in Goa, she clinched a bronze medal in the 2000m senior women’s single scull event. A multiple-time national champion in indoor rowing, Shweta has consistently dominated the 2000m singles category, winning gold in 2025, 2023, and 2022, along with victories in mixed fours. Her performance at the University Rowing Nationals has been equally impressive, earning numerous titles including double gold in the 2000m and 500m singles at KIUG 2023. Over the years, she has accumulated a remarkable collection of gold, silver, and bronze medals across sub-junior, senior, and university competitions, firmly establishing herself as one of India’s leading women rowers.
