Krishna Jayasankar Menon

Krishna Jayasankar Menon is a talented Indian track and field athlete specializing in discus and shot put, currently representing the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She became the first Indian woman thrower to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a discus throw of 55.61 meters in 2025 and set a new Indian indoor shot put record of 16.03 meters. A multiple NCAA medalist, she has earned gold in discus and silver in shot put. Trained under renowned coach Michael Vassell, she gained international exposure. Coming from a celebrated basketball family, she is among India’s most promising young throwers.
