Akshay Das is a seasoned former footballer and coach from Odisha with extensive playing and coaching experience. He represented Bengal in U-19 and U-21 categories, played for India’s U-19 Youth Team, and competed in the 32nd Asian Youth Qualifying Round in Sri Lanka. He also represented Goa and Odisha in multiple Santosh Trophy tournaments and played professionally for leading clubs such as East Bengal, Salgaocar FC, ITI Bangalore, Sporting Club de Goa, Mohammedan Sporting, and Viva Kerala. Transitioning to coaching in 2008, he later worked with SAI-HAL and Tata Football Academy/Jamshedpur FC. Since August 2024, he serves as Technical Director of the Football Association of Odisha.
