Ajay Pal Singh, a distinguished officer of the Delhi Police, served from 1985 until his retirement in 2022. He received the President’s Medal for Meritorious Police Service in 2021. Notably, he served as the DCP at the President House and was the security in-charge for the Home Minister. As SHO, he led Bhajanpura Police Station to be recognised as the best in Delhi and the third best in India. Internationally, he represented India at the United Nations, serving in Kosovo (2000–2001). Beyond policing, he was an accomplished athlete, representing India in hammer throw at the 1990 Permit Athletic Meet and winning gold while setting a national record at the 2nd National Games in Trivandrum (1987).
