Bharat Kumar

Bharat Kumar is a dedicated Kho-Kho player and sports professional with a strong background in both competitive sport and athlete development. He has represented at several prestigious national events, including the 34th National Games (2011), 45th Senior National Championship (2011), Junior National Championship (2010), and the East Zone National Championship (2012), showcasing his talent and commitment to excellence. In addition to his national-level success, he has also participated in multiple state-level tournaments such as the Jharkhand State Kho-Kho Championship (2008), Ranchi University Kho-Kho (2011), and the Veer Budhu Bhagat Trophy (2012). To further enhance his knowledge and technical expertise, Bharat completed the Jharkhand State Official Diploma Course (2018) and attended the 1st State Level Kho-Kho Referee Seminar (2018). He also took part in the Kosal Vikash Prasikshan Karyakram (2017) for professional development in sports. Beyond playing, he has contributed as an official in Ranchi District Kho-Kho tournaments, collaborating with reputed institutions such as JVM School, DAV Hehal, and Kendriya Vidyalaya. With over 3 years of experience as a Physical Education Teacher at DAV Dhurwa, Ranchi, Bharat Kumar continues to mentor and inspire young athletes, making a meaningful impact on the growth and promotion of Kho-Kho and sports education in the region.
