Satyabrata Nayak is an accomplished international basketball coach with an impressive record of achievements at both national and international levels. He notably coached the Indian women’s basketball team at the Pre-Olympic Qualifiers 2029 held in Malaysia and led them to a Gold Medal at the 13th SAF Games 2019 in Nepal. Under his expert guidance, his teams clinched six consecutive Gold Medals in the Senior National Basketball Championships (2017–2022) and secured Bronze Medals at the 67th and 74th Senior Nationals. His success extended to the Federation Cup, where his teams won Gold in 2019 and Bronze in 2017 and 2018. In addition, Satyabrata has dominated the All India Railway Basketball Championship, earning Gold Medals in 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023, along with Bronze in 2014 and 2015 and Silver in 2024 — making him one of India’s most successful and respected basketball coaches.
