Madhu Yadav is an Arjuna and Vikram Award-winning former Indian hockey player with an illustrious national and administrative career, having won 13 Gold Medals at the Senior National Women’s Hockey Championships, clinched the Gold Medal at the 1st Federation Cup in 1991, honored with the Arjuna Award in 2000 by the President of India and the Vikram Award in 1980 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, served as Secretary of Women’s Hockey (IHF) since 2013 and of the Madhya Pradesh Women’s Hockey Association since 2000, contributed as a Selector for Hockey India (Men & Women) in 2009–2010 and Committee Member for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, and retired as Sports Officer from West Central Railway, Jabalpur, continuing to inspire future generations of women hockey players.
