Olympian Om Prakash Singh Karhana is a distinguished former Olympian, this accomplished athlete represented India in Shot Put at the London 2012 Olympic Games and is a two-time Asian Champion, having won Gold Medals at the Asian Athletics Championships in 2009 and 2014 in both outdoor and indoor events. A National Record Holder in Shot Put from 2012 to 2018, he now serves as a National Athletics Coach, mentoring elite athletes across India. An MBA graduate pursuing a Ph.D. in Sports Management, he is also a member of the Athletes’ Commission of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and works with ONGC, promoting sports governance and grassroots athletic development.
