Prof. Suresh Kumar is a distinguished academic and sports administrator, currently serving as Professor at Chaudhary Bansi Lal State Government University, Bhiwani, Haryana, since 2014. With a Ph.D. in Women Wrestling, along with NET, SLET, M.A. in Physical Education, NIS (Wrestling), and B. Ed qualifications, he brings over 25 years of teaching and administrative experience to his roles as Dean Student Welfare, Dean Faculty of Sports Sciences, Dean Faculty of Education, and Chairperson of the Department of Physical Education. Prof. Kumar is a celebrated wrestler, having achieved multiple state and national titles, and has successfully coached teams to top positions at both national and international championships. He is a prolific scholar, with 22 research papers published in reputed journals, presentations at international conferences, and authorship of nine books on physical education and sports. His contributions have been recognized with prestigious honours, including the State NSS Award by the Government of Haryana (2020-21) and the Dr. Ajmer Singh 5th PEFI National Award. Actively engaged in organizing national sports events, youth festivals, and NSS activities, Prof. Kumar also serves as District President of Krida Bharti Bhiwani, reflecting his deep commitment to the development of sports and youth in Haryana.
