Deepta Jyoti Sarkar is a skilled badminton player from Kolkata, known for his achievements across multiple categories. He is a two-time State Champion in Under-19 Boys Singles and Mixed Doubles, and has earned runner-up and finalist positions in Under-19 Doubles, Under-17 Singles, and Senior Men’s Singles. Representing Calcutta University, he won the East Zone University Championship in 2021. Currently pursuing his post-graduation at Adamas University, he continues to perform strongly, finishing as a finalist in Senior Men’s Doubles and a semi-finalist in Singles in 2025. Deepta remains a dedicated and promising member of the Bengal Badminton Team.
