Shiv Kumar Raman is a highly dedicated professional with a strong background in rural development, public health, and sports administration. He holds an MBA in Agri-Business from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and has over 8 years of experience working in key development sectors. Currently, he serves as a District Manager at JSLPS under the Jharkhand Rural Development Department, where he supports the implementation of essential health and nutrition initiatives at the grassroots level. Prior to this, he worked with CARE India and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), successfully managing projects focused on routine immunization, maternal and child health, and cold chain systems. He has extensive experience in training and mentoring frontline health workers such as ANMs, ASHAs, and AWWs, and is skilled in data collection, compilation, and reporting for health programs. In addition to his public health expertise, Shiv has participated in multiple capacity-building workshops on family planning, immunization, VHSND (Village Health, Sanitation & Nutrition Day), and qualitative data collection techniques, further strengthening his technical knowledge. Beyond development work, he has also made a significant impact in sports administration, having represented Jharkhand as Head of Delegation in National School Games and Nehru Hockey Tournaments, and serving as a Technical Official at the South Asian Games and international race walk events.
