Olympian Radhika Suresh

Radhika Suresh is a distinguished former Indian international table tennis player and Olympian from Kerala, Radhika Suresh has played a pivotal role in shaping Indian table tennis, both on and off the table. She held the top national ranking from 1991 to 1996 and proudly represented India at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics — a defining milestone in her illustrious career. Radhika has competed in three World Table Tennis Championships, along with several Asian Games and Commonwealth Games, earning national and international recognition. Her international achievements include five gold medals at the South Asian Federation (SAF) Games in 1991 and 1993 across Singles, Doubles, and Team events. Domestically, she claimed four National titles, excelling across all age categories — Sub-Junior (1986), Junior (1989), Senior (1996), and Veteran (2014). She also secured a silver medal at the 1992 Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships and another silver at the 1991 World Railways Championship. In recognition of her outstanding contributions to Indian sport, she received the Rajiv Gandhi Olympian Award from the Kerala Olympic Association. Beyond her playing career, Radhika Suresh has also served as Joint Secretary of the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI), further advancing the sport at the national level. She currently holds the position of Chief Manager (ES) at the Indian Oil Corporation’s Head Office in Mumbai.
